Dr. Kirk MacGregor of McPherson College has published a review of my book in the Fall 2024 issue of the New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary journal. Please take a look:

After surveying the arguments expressed in each chapter of the book, the review critically engages with my novel approach to re-interpreting the testimony provided by the early church fathers, as they spoke of the circumstances surrounding the publication of Matthew’s Gospel. While MacGregor favorably responds to some of my assertions, he finds unconvincing my approach to re-translating Irenaeus and Origen in such a way that they can be understood as asserting that Matthew first published in Greek, rather than in Hebrew or Aramaic, as these church fathers are traditionally understood. I look forward to further addressing his concerns in a future blog post.
My thanks to Dr. MacGregor and NOBTS for the review.
If someone happens to spot a review elsewhere, then please let me know. Am eager to hear what challenges other reviewers might offer against the other arguments presented in the book, for an early Gospel publication and Matthean priority.
